Networking doesn't come naturally to everyone, and this has become abundantly clear to us over the past few years as we travel more and meet many new people. We desperately wanted to 'hook up' these new business contacts with others we've met on our travels, and kept looking for a better way to do that.NetworkNoodle popped into my head!We were talking about how best to 'hook up' business people, when some of the networking groups charge considerable sums of money, and others groups require too much travel to attend meetings. I started to think about just how many friends and business acquaintances I had, when the thought of masses of noodles and spaghetti came to mind, and I laughed, "It's like networking with noodles hahahaha!"... and the rest is history. Put it online! Make it easy to find! Make it easy to remember!By creating an easy-to-remember name, we started telling people about the idea to put all the networking groups we knew about online, in one place, easy to find. We then started to think about how to help local people we knew - how best to introduce them to other business people looking to network, without it costing an arm and a leg?And so the idea of NetworkNoodling© came into being - getting small groups together for speed networking in cafes, bars and restaurants, very informally, and make it a bit of fun. Everyone loves it, many new business connections are made, and as a bonus, friendships are also formed. Why not come along to one of our free evenings and see what it's all about?
